"I got this shirt quite a while ago. I don't buy new ones. This is from when I was living in London and went on a business trip I guess. That's why it's written 'Volkswagen'. A German person working for Volkswagen gave this to me."

-What was your job in London?

"Just an ordinary 'salaryman'. Actually I used to be the manager and hired locals."

-What is the best memory from the time you lived in London?

"The time when I shaked hands with Prince Charles. About a hundred Japanese people were invited to the embassy, and I was one of them. 
I actually wanted to meet Princess Diana but I couldn't then. Well I had a better impression of Prince Charles than what I had imagined. 
He never shaked hands firmly but softly. I remember telling him that I'm working very hard and he said 'You look so well' to me.

I was just walking around reminiscing about London and my wife who has passed away. I wasn't looking around while I was thinking. 
So when you talked to me, I thought that I had done something wrong."
