"I often visit Iwanami Hall because there are movies you can only see here. Today I found an advertisement on the evening paper and it attracted me. It's a quiet film with barely any lines. And it took years for them until they were able to take the film."
- Why did it attract you?
"Nowadays, there are many loud movies - you know, like those made for youngsters. I'm not much in favor of them. Once in a while, I want to rest my mind in a quiet place, since Tokyo is such a busy city. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere, the time I can be by myself in quietness."
