We've been together for so long that it feels like we've grown roots. It's been about fifty years. Oh my.
We were working together often in the past. He engaged in construction business, and I used to help him.
Back then the workers were mostly men, and a woman like me was rare.
What troubled me the most was finding a restroom.
Nowadays there are restrooms for women at construction sites, but back in around 1975 there were none.
So it was the hardest to find a restroom at the workplace.
I did enjoy working.
Things were different back then, and I wasn't told to do as my boss wanted. I could come up with and use my own ideas.
Work itself was hard but I didn't feel stress at all.
I moved a lot at the workplace, and perhaps used my brain differently.
My boss wasn't telling me what to do, and it was up to our customers whether or not to carry on with certain ideas.
(To her husband) What did you say, dear?"
