- Why did you decide to do paddle boating here today?
"We usually do this in the beaches around Hiratsuka, in Kanagawa Prefecture. But in the Shonan area, marine sports is too big so that nothing is new. But if we tried it here, everyone would be like 'What the hell are they doing?', right? 

My dream is to bring 100 surfers to this canal and do a paddle boating race. You may think that's bizarre but it's totally possible."
