"I'm about to graduate from college."

- What are you going to do after?
"I'm planning to move to Hokkaido and start a guesthouse where travelers and local people can interact. 

At first, I didn't know what to do but I just thought it would be an exciting choice to start my own business. So we started trying out different stuff and felt that it wasn't it. But through that experience I met a lot of people and got to learn different stuff and I ended up thinking that starting a guesthouse is it for us."

- Why do you want to do it in Hokkaido?
"I'm from Hokkaido so I think my instinct is to go back. And I've been watching my hometown losing its energy year by year so that's my starting point of why I want to start a business. And I just think there must be more exciting lifestyles you can have in Hokkaido. And Hokkaido is a land of pioneers. There's more to be discovered. So I'm betting on that possibility and the chance to pursue a lifestyle that is more exciting."
