People should be able to be themselves.

"I study sociology. I read a book written by this professor and I became interested in gender."
"What was the book about?"
"I sympathized with the part that said gender was defined by society and that originally humans are not to be categorized this way. Girls don't have to wear bright colors, and boys don't have to like blue. People should be able to be themselves."
