"We call it Lolita fashion. But we're out shopping today so I'm toning it down a little. I've been doing lolita fashion for a while and my friend, she started after she came to Japan."

- Where are you from?
"We're both from Shanghai. We're here as study abroad students."

- What's the beauty of Lolita fashion?
"Well there's a lot of identity to it. You can make your original head dress and other accessaries. That makes it fun."

- What made you want to study in Japan?
"For me it was fashion. I graduated from a fashion school this year."
