- Do you skateboard?
“Yeah, I skateboard all the time.”
- What’s the beauty of skateboarding?
“The thing I like about skateboarding is at first many people tell you there’s many rules and you have to do this technique. But I like it because I can show my freedom. Sometimes I get in trouble because keisatsu (police )comes but I like it because I can show my freedom and I also like to look cool. Hontoni (For real!) So when I do a trick and it’s perfect “Oh watashi ha meccha kakkoii~ (Oh man I’m so cool)”. But mostly I like my freedom.
- What do you mean by freedom?
“Sometimes I feel like in my life I’m busy with so many things. But for skateboarding and my art there’s really no rules, except for the ones that I make.”
