What can I say, it's just really fun.

- Wait, so you came 4th in a world yoyo competition?
"Yep. I am currently number four in the world."

- That's amazing.. How do you call yoyo players? Is there a word for it?
"We call ourselves spinners, because we spin yoyos."

- So you learned yoyo on your own?
"Yep. I first bought a toy yoyo when I was in sixth grade. Then I started wanting to do tricks with it, so I bought books and watched videos and practiced on my own."

- What makes you so passionate about yoyos?
"Well, I like how I can invent my own tricks and express my personality through them. Also, yoyo has brought me to many places and I met a lot of people from like Western Japan, Hokkaido, Kyushu and even people from abroad. These encounters have taught me so much, so my yoyo is like a communication tool for me."

- Is your goal to be come world champion?
"Yes, it's to become number one in the world. Not only do I want to become a champion, I want people to say that my tricks are number one. I don't really care about the labels. I just want people to respect me for what I can do."

- You look great when you're playing with your yoyo.
"What can I say, it's just really fun."
