Women are strong and they can do better than that.

"I wanted to work for Facebook's COO so I contacted her, but then she told me to make a Japanese version of her organization Lean in so that's what I'm doing right now."

- What do you want to do after your graduation?
"First I want to enter a foreign bank. Then train myself as a trader and then eventually go into the world of finance. Men still dominate finance so I want to succeed in that field as a woman. First of all, I think Japanese woman lack the will and determination to succeed in business. The environment is already there but they're not ready so I want to raise their awareness by becoming a role model."

- So you think the problem is in Japanese women's mentality?
"Yes. It's not the men's fault and it's not the environment's fault. I think Japanese women are thinking that they should leave the hard work to the men and that's what's keep them from success. Women are strong and they can do better than that. So I want to succeed as a japanese woman, not just a man."
